Love doesn't change, people do. Love's eternal but relationships are seasonal.
You’ll know when it’s love, it won’t fail.
"Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away." (1 Cor 13:8)
“Love” just has the ability to last through life’s curves, bends and corners.
Without a lot of fanfare, it just stands on its on doing what it does.
If it’s present? It will be there at the end of it all…
… but baaaaby if it’s not there?!
The right bend and corner in life will quickly make you aware that “tolerance” was what you mistook for love. Humans often mistake tolerance and patience for love but those both have expiration dates.
People operating outside of love can only bare so much & time will ultimately tell the story.
In life you will find only a few that will walk with you through it all. If you have 1 you’ve done very well. So don’t get bent out of shape when seasons change.
(Footnote): Jesus is the only one who promised NEVER to leave or forsake us, if we stick with Him, we fare well.
