If you pay attention to & serve your spouses needs… then no one else would even be in position to do it.
One of the most important parts of any relationship is #communication. 
If your relationship is healthy, you should be able to articulately communicate your needs and requirements to your spouse.
Of course, they’re delighted to serve you and meet the need. 8x out of 10 they already have an idea of it from paying attention to you. The beauty of a healthy relationship is the fact that you are noticed and seen!
On the flip side, if communication has been broken down for whatever reason- THIS IS A MAJOR ISSUE!
… because now when your spouse is in need, when they need servicing, when they are under duress it can’t be properly expressed. Now they head out into the marketplace sending out distress signals that are easily identifiable by suitors of the opposite sex.
All of this can be avoided by simply coming out of pride and paying attention to our spouse. We must be proactive and intentional in making sure the lines of communication stay open.
